Thoughts..

Back to blogging..For me, its difficult to sustain the enthusiasm for any activity after the novelty wears off.. :( But listening to Yanni's 'Nightingale', I felt like writing ...

Yanni's Nightingale is the best musical piece ever. Listening to it, you start to understand how exactly music can be like flowing water. The piece touches all your senses and at the end gives you a high like no other..

Christmas season's started. I love this season. You can feel the palpable excitement at home though not at office cos Christmas is not a big thing in Mumbai. But I'm sure the excitement is going to pick up at office as well cos all our clients will be on holiday and the work generally decreases. That'll surely make everyone happy. Planning to keep a small Christmas tree on my desk at office. That'll also generate some excitement, I'm sure.

India wins..

It was worth coming early and watching the match..what a win!!!! But it's such a pain watching cricket on NEO :( . India wins such a superb match and instead of showing what's happening on the field they show some stupid ad..

I love the 'Pink Chaddi campaign' on Facebook. Just the other day we were discussing at office bout how often we are helpless about people who resort to all kinds of stupidity for political mileage. I just love the way how this group has taken the fight to these idiots.. :)..

India loses..

I felt sad when India lost the match today but the sadness was not accompanied by the usual feeling of hopelesness, which usually happens when India lose a match. It must be due to the belief that this Indian team have what it takes to be a world beater and the team has a wonderful captain to go along with it. I hope the pressure and the pride of being India's captain does not get to Dhon.....atleast not before the next World Cup... :)

Caught the evening mallu movie, 'Photographer' on Asianet. Starring Mohanlal, the movie did have its moments. But the number of ideas which the director was trying to convey were too many. The movie had a very strong scene were the Christian mother(Mohanlal's) accepts the hindu daughter-in-law into the family. But it's sad that though we make very good movies on the subject of love, in Kerala, and though the audience's like them (proved by the big success of 'Aniyathipravu' 10 years back with little known actors),  the  idea of an inter-religion marriage is still taboo.

Still listening to Rock On. :) ..yup, even after all this time :) . I just love 'Tum ho toh' and 'Sindbad the sailor'. But the most repeated song on my current playlist is 'Kaise Mujhe' from Ghajini.
Like most Rahman songs, it starts getting better and better the more I listen to it.

Bonne nuite..
